The John Stephen Klacking Foundation for Childhood Cancer (JSKFCC) will aggressively push for the advancement of cures for childhood cancer. JSKFCC will work to this goal by raising funds to support rapid translation of laboratory discoveries to the clinic. We will work to support leading researchers of childhood cancer in their effort to develop targeted therapies that minimize toxicity to children.

The JSKFCC has secured commitments from advocates of cancer for its Board of Directors and Advisory boards, including such prominent members as Dr. John Mendelsohn, President, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center — recognized as the top cancer treatment facility in the world — Nancy Brinker, the founder of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and Bill Murphy, among many appointments, the former Director of Basic Research at the National Cancer Institute.
